Cross-Curricular Programs
NPES’s small community lends itself to opportunities for different grade levels and different classes to work together and learn from each other. Multiple instances are built into the curriculum to enhance learning and growth in various ways. Among various benefits, older
students learn to mentor younger children while the younger children develop social skills from their older peers. Combining a co-curricular program with a core class also strengthens and enhances the content being taught in the class.
