How to Apply (Kindergarten - 8th Grade)

We are currently accepting applications for the 2012-2013 school year for students entering kindergarten in the fall of 2012.  Applications for 1st-8th grade are accepted year-round, space-permiting.

Fall Open House Dates:  Tuesday, November 15th and Thursday, November 17th 2011 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.

Children applying for kindergarten must be five years old on or before September 1. Acceptance into kindergarten is dependent upon a developmental-readiness screening and a family interview. A non-refundable application fee of $150 per student and an original birth certificate must be submitted with the completed application by January 9, 2012 for enrollment in the 2012–2013 school year.

For students in 1st–8th grade entry requires a review of the applicant’s records, an interview, and a screening along with the completed application and $150 non-refundable fee.

Please note that NPES does not carry over its pool of applicants from one year to the next.

KINDERGARTEN APPLICATION CHECKLIST

• Application for Admission 2012-2013 and $150 Application Fee - Please fill out the Applicant Information (page 1) for each child, and one Family Information and General Information (pages 2 and 3) per family. Checks for the $150 Application Fee should be made payable to NPES.
• Common Recommendation Form - Please print the form and have your child’s current teacher fill it out and return it directly to NPES.

• Original Birth Certificate - The school will make a photo copy and promptly return the original to you.

• Questionnaire - A Family Questionnaire will be emailed to you once we receive your application and prior to your scheduled play party and/or school visit.
