At NPES, a committee typically consists of a group of parents who strategically plan and execute programs based on the given committee’s goals or objectives. Task forces often require volunteers to perform specific tasks on either an ongoing or as-needed basis. Task forces can stand alone or be part of larger committees.

Assists NPES staff and teachers in developing and implementing after-school programs.
Responsible for setting up and cleaning up evening Association Meetings.
Plans and executes the school’s annual auction fundraiser as well as smaller fundraisers throughout the year.
Organizes a variety of social activities for NPES dads and kids outside of school such as a book club, camping trip, and winemaking.
Performs physical enhancements and/or repairs to school's classrooms, garage, exterior, playlot, etc. on an as needed basis.
Works to reduce the school's impact on the environment, to educate students and parents on sustainable practices, and to facilitate the connection between NPES students and nature.
Supervise K-2nd recess and lunch and 3rd-5th lunch from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m
Works with the Communications Director to increase awareness of NPES in the community by developing and updating targeted marketing communications materials on an as needed basis.
Develops and executes recruitment programs for NPES. Organizes and manages recruiting events such as open houses and school fairs.
Assists in aspects of Science Olympiad on an as needed basis. (Available to parents of 6th-8th grade students who are participating in Science Olympiad).
Develops and runs organized sports program(s) and advances healthful opportunities for students offered by NPES. This committee works in conjunction with the After-School Programming Committee.
Evaluates and addresses the school’s technology needs and systems on an as needed basis.
Assists in organizing and executing the school's annual spring theater production.
