Halloween parade to RUCC(weather permitting) and assembly at RUCC(parents welcome)
Halloween at NPES — Details & Important Reminders
From John Novick, Jr, Head of School – novick@npeschool.org
Weather permitting On Friday, October 30 at 8:45 a.m. all NPES students—preschool through eighth grade–will parade from our main building to the RUCC Gym (costumes optional) for an assembly featuring live performances by our middle school advanced band, intermediate and middle school choruses, and a selection of short dramatic or musical pieces by our K-3 students. All parents are welcome to watch the parade and gather in the RUCC by 9:00 a.m. for the all-school assembly (note that most attendees will stand, as seating is limited). The assembly will run about 45 minutes, with all students returning to the main building for a day of classes.
Please review these policies about Halloween costumes with your child/ren. Students are not required to wear costumes at school, as not all families celebrate Halloween and not all children enjoy dressing up. Students who choose to wear costumes for the parade may continue to wear them during the school day, provided it is practical to do so and they do not become a distraction (in which case teachers may ask students to change, so we encourage all to bring a change of clothes). We hope all students who trick-or-treat over the weekend have a safe and joyful Halloween!
