Office Hours

All teachers at NPES will hold office hours for a total of one hour (before and/or after school) each week. Teachers will post their schedule for office hours on their blogs, however the schedule is subject to change based on student needs. Any changes to the schedule will be posted on the blog.

Office hours are scheduled to allow time for students to receive academic support outside of classroom time. Student need will always take priority during a teacher’s office hours, however, parents may also use this time to meet with a teacher either by appointment or by dropping in. This is a time for parents to receive clarification of academic concepts and not a time for discussing student progress.

If a student will be utilizing office hours, the teacher must be notified by the parent (and the student when appropriate) by email in advance of the scheduled office hours.

Preschool

Kindergarten – 5th grade

Kindergarten – Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:45-8:15 a.m.

1st grade – Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:45-8:15 a.m.
