North Park Elementary School is devoted to upholding our mission "to provide students with an environment that fosters self-discipline and self-motivation while instilling a sense of lifelong learning."  This mission was created in response to the overwhelming need for excellent private education.  Today, we face a new set of challenges; an ever-changing technology driven world, and the need to maximize every student touch point, including outdoor space.  To meet our ambition, we must call upon the full measure of our capacity in three critial areas through the "Wired for Fun" Special Projects Initiative:

• Update our school's technological infrastructure and integrate the capabilities of the computer lab into everyday instruction.
• Transform our existing playlot into a re-imagined space where all students can be challenged physically and creatively.
• Create a persistent long-range planning fund for future investments needed to achieve our long-range goals.

How much do we need to raise?

Playlot: $225,000

Technology: $100,000

Annual Fund: 2011-12 and 2012-13 school years:  $200,000

Long Range Plan:  $25,000

Total:  $550,000
