Middle School Summer Series

Our Middle School Summer Series is a menu of thought-provoking, hands-on, and skills-rich academic enrichment classes on weekday afternoons in July, open to NPES students in rising grades six through nine and students from other schools in rising grades six through eight. Each class is one-week long and meets daily on-campus from 1:00-4:00 PM. A minimum of 5 students must enroll in each camp for that program to run. Courses are designed and taught by  NPES faculty members with three goals in mind: engage small groups of students authentically in a relaxed but purposeful summer learning experience that is meaningful to them, useful to their future learning, and fun to experience with their peers.

Families can enroll their students for up to four courses (one per week). Applications for students who do not attend NPES are accepted after April 15 (once enrollment opens to the public, the link to apply can be found on this page). Questions can be directed to Head of School John Novick at novick@npeschool.org. Current NPES families can enroll beginning in late January/early February through the parent portal. The menu of this year’s Summer Series offerings can be found here.
