Clubs and Athletics

At NPES, students thrive in a vibrant community that values connection, curiosity, and joyful learning. Our enrichment programs, clubs, and extracurricular activities are designed to inspire exploration, foster friendships, and deepen a sense of belonging.

Students engage in a wide range of experiences - many aligned with their personal interests, and others that spark entirely new passions. Whether diving deeper into a favorite subject or trying something for the first time, students grow as individuals and as members of a caring, collaborative community.

Most NPES students participate in multiple activities each year. Signature programs include competitive basketball (highlighted by our annual North Side Tournament), Science Olympiad teams for 6th - 8th graders, and robust offerings in the visual and performing arts - including drama, music, and studio art.
