Giving at NPES

Charitable giving is an essential and relied-upon aspect of family involvement at North Park Elementary School. Why?

Like other independent schools, NPES depends on the generosity of our community to offer the full NPES experience to all students, and to make important improvements to our program possible. As the National Association of Independent Schools puts it, “Your gift supports the people and programs that make your school special to you.”

The NPES Fund is our annual giving fund, which gives direct support to our programs and enriches the student experience above and beyond what tuition can support – tuition largely funds our operations, whereas annual giving enhances our offerings. Every gift to the NPES Fund helps us achieve our goals for the school, including:

• Faculty/staff professional development and benefits like graduate school tuition reimbursement and national educational conferences related to the school’s strategic initiatives
• Critical curricular enhancements like integrating technology, design thinking, and inquiry into the curriculum; diversity, equity, and inclusion work to grow cultural competency skills; and social emotional learning for well-being, healthy identity development, and sound personal decision-making
