Support Our Spring Appeal: Help Empower Our Educators
Thank You for Supporting the 2025 Spring Appeal: LEAPP
Each year, the NPES Spring Appeal supports a meaningful initiative that strengthens and enriches our school community. From campus enhancements to student programs, your generosity ensures that NPES continues to grow and thrive.
This year, we proudly focused on supporting our incredible educators through LEAPP: Leaders Exploring a Professional Passion - a new enrichment grant program designed to empower our faculty and staff with transformative learning experiences.
Thanks to the outpouring of support from our community, we are thrilled to share that we raised over $30,000 in support of LEAPP!
This total includes the generous match from the 8th Grade Legacy Challenge Grant, where families from the Class of 2025 came together to match the first $15,000 raised, leaving a lasting legacy in support of the educators who make NPES so special.
What is LEAPP?
At NPES, exceptional educators are the foundation of student success. The LEAPP program nurtures their continued growth by encouraging applications for learning opportunities that go beyond traditional workshops and conferences. These experiences align with our mission and educational philosophy - and ultimately enrich the classroom experience for every NPES student.
Examples of LEAPP-funded opportunities include:
- Participating in summer institutes through programs like Harvard’s Project Zero, Columbia’s Teachers College, or Stanford’s YouCubed
- Visiting historical or cultural sites relevant to curriculum topics
- Exploring wellness, human development, equity, or emerging technologies with leading experts
LEAPP will provide new pathways for creativity, innovation, and connection, helping our teachers grow while making learning even more engaging for students.
As we celebrate the success of this year’s Spring Appeal, we are honored to recognize the generous donors whose support made the launch of the LEAPP program possible:
