Summer's Cool Camp

Our popular Summer’s Cool camp program is all about fun, adventure, and creating lasting childhood memories. Each day is filled with exciting activities both on campus and around the city, from water games and outdoor sports to arts and crafts, magic shows, and museum explorations. Three days a week, K-8 campers set off on exciting field trips to local favorites like Climb Zone, Shedd Aquarium, Funtopia Adventure Park, Mini-Golf, and nearby Water Parks.

Led by our Auxiliary Programs Manager and a joyful team of experienced teachers and associates, including familiar faces from the school year, campers enjoy a safe, supportive environment where they can build friendships and feel right at home. Middle school students even have the chance to grow their leadership skills by serving as junior camp counselors.

Summer’s Cool provides a smooth, stress-free transition from the school year to summer, filling the gap before other camps and activities begin. The full-day program runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and families can choose to enroll for one, two, or all three weeks, offering plenty of flexibility. We also offer Before Care from 8:00-9:00 am and After Care from 3:00-5:00 pm.

Junior Summer's Cool

Junior Summer’s Cool is NPES on-campus summer program designed specifically for rising junior kindergarten and kindergarten students.Campers spend their days enjoying classic summer fun with their peers in a safe, familiar environment. To keep each day engaging and enjoyable, special activities and visitors, like magic shows, bounce houses, and balloon artists, come to campus to give kids something new to look forward to. It’s a great way for our youngest students to build friendships, explore new interests, and enjoy a memorable summer experience.

Summer’s Cool and Junior Summer’s Cool are open to current NPES families. As space allows, additional spots are available for families outside of the NPES community who are referred by an NPES community member. Registration for families outside of  the NPES community will open in the Spring.
