Thank you for your interest in applying to the NPES' Early Childhood Program. Children applying to preschool must be three years old by September 1st for our preschool three program or four years old by September 1st for our preschool four program. Acceptance into preschool is dependent upon a family interview, as well as the items in the checklist below.

Families are encouraged to attend an Admissions Coffee or schedule a tour. If you are interested in scheduling a tour, please email Anne  Zagotta, Director of Admissions, or call 773-327-3144, ext. 235.

Families who wish to be considered for first round admission are encouraged to apply by December 31. 

If you are interested in applying to preschool for the 2023-24 school year, please complete the checklist items below: 

• Application for Admission
• $150 Application Fee
• Common Recommendation Form – Please have your child’s current teacher fill out the form and return it directly to NPES.
• Original Birth Certificate – Please bring the birth certificate to your family interview and we will make a photocopy and promptly return the original to you.
• Questionnaire – A Family Questionnaire is also required before a school visit.
