Apply to Preschool

Thank you for your interest in applying to the NPES preschool! Children applying to preschool must be three years old by September 1st* for our preschool three program or four years old by September 1st for our preschool four program. Acceptance into preschool is dependent upon a family interview, as well as the items in the checklist below.

Families are encouraged to attend an Admissions Coffee or schedule a tour. If you are interested in scheduling a tour, please email Anne Zagotta, Director of Admissions, or call 773-327-3144, ext. 235.

* NPES will consider applicants who turn three by September 15th for admission on a case-by-case basis. Please contact Anne Zagotta, Director of Admissions, or call 773-327-3144, ext. 235 prior to submitting your application.

If you are interested in applying to preschool, please complete the checklist items below: 

• Application for Admission
• $150 Application Fee
• Common Recommendation Form – Please have your child’s current teacher fill out the form and return it directly to NPES.
• Original Birth Certificate – Please bring the birth certificate to your family interview and we will make a photocopy and promptly return the original to you.
• Questionnaire – A Family Questionnaire is also required before a school visit.
