The NPES Fund

Since the beginning, the NPES Fund has been the cornerstone of fundraising at our school. It is the campaign that has helped NPES evolve over decades, remaining current with the changing needs of students and families and the latest research on teaching, learning, and human development. We are grateful to have so many parents, grandparents, alumni, staff, and friends who support our school every year.

As an independent school, NPES relies on the charitable giving of our families to sustain an exceptional and inclusive educational experience for our students. Our students benefit every day from the support of donors who contribute. Generously investing in the NPES Fund is a wonderful way to express gratitude for what this school community means to your child and family. Gifts to the NPES Fund are 100% tax deductible.

What will my gift support?

Your financial contribution to the NPES Fund supports the people and programs that make us a special place for children and families. Your gift enables us to strengthen our educational program and community, providing all our students with the education they deserve.

How much should I give?

We rely on our generous donors giving as much as they are able, with a gift of at least $1900 per student. The truth is, sustaining and strengthening our program for the benefit of all children requires generosity well above $1900 per student. But every gift of every size leads us closer to our goal of 100% family participation. Your gift shows that you believe in our school and that we’re all in this together. Your participation matters.

What is the best time to make a gift?

Making a gift before December 31st allows you to receive a tax deduction for the current year. Otherwise, we ask all gifts and pledge payments to be made by the end of our fiscal year, June 30th.

How can I give?

There are several ways to give. Drop off a check or mail your gift to 2017 W Montrose, Chicago, IL 60618, or give online at the top of this page.

Do you accept matching gifts?

Of course! Many companies have matching-gift programs that will match charitable contributions made by their employees. When giving to North Park Elementary, please request the necessary matching gift forms from your company and include them with your gift.

Can I make a tribute gift?

Yes! If you give to NPES in another’s name, the school will send the attributed donor a card or another form of recognition that is appropriate to the occasion.
