Mathematics
We believe that math is a universal language and an invaluable tool for examining the world and solving problems. Across every grade, our students are given opportunities to play with math and explore mathematical concepts in a constructivist approach. They develop a toolbox of strategies as they discover new concepts, and focus on precision and articulation of their understanding.
The NPES curriculum aligns with the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and Common Core State Standards and combines computation, reasoning, and problem-solving skills in a way that allows students to see how math is alive in their everyday lives.
