For Early Childhood students, a sense of community begins at home, and then they build relationships beyond their families with their peers and teachers. At NPES, we view the development of these expanding relationships over time as a thoughtful collaboration between home and school, including our cross-grade buddy programs.

Through these rich and rewarding connections, children learn to understand the broader community and develop an important sense of belonging to something larger than themselves. We know that children thrive when an entire community of learners surrounds and supports them, especially during their formative early childhood years.
