School Readiness

Our supportive environment fosters foundational skills essential to learning and growth throughout elementary school, including resilience, flexibility, independence, self advocacy, collaboration, academic readiness (including foundational literacy and numeracy), self-care, community membership, self-expression, listening, well-being, and cultural literacy. Co-curriculars taught by K-8 faculty, cross-grade buddy activities, and an enriching afterschool program ensure a seamless and thoughtful transition from preschool into elementary school. This wraparound approach enables students to be active, engaged, and prepared learners on day one in kindergarten.

Our beautiful classrooms and outdoor playlot are thoughtfully and intentionally designed to spark interest and generate engagement. In these warm, welcoming, and active spaces, natural elements and light are used to create dynamic environments with the flexibility to adapt to the inherent imagination and interests of students.
